VIRNECT REMOTE

• Remote Collaboration Room : Only members/groups selected by the leader can participate. After creating a collaboration room, the leader can invite additional members, but not guests.

• Open Room : All members of the Workspace can freely participate. Not only the leader but the members can invite others using the access URL. Those who do not have an account can also be invited as guests.

• Hand ray

Point one finger at a distant object and select it as if pinching with two fingers. The selected object can be rotated freely on 3D Viewer.

• Pinch and Rotate

Hold an object by using two fingers as if pinching it and rotate it using your wrist.

• Grab

Hold an object as if pinching with two fingers and move it to the desired location.

Can but its only available open session for any participants to join. If want create session for advance or add certain members only can do in browser based.

Cannot. You only can log in(same account) with one device at same timing. Multiple device log in not available for VIRNECT Remote.

Contact the user of the Workspace Administrator account (Master/ Manager).

A password must be between 8 and 20 characters and contain at least 3 combinations of uppercase/lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters (.,!,@,#,$,%, etc.). Consecutive numbers or 4 or more same letters cannot be used as a password.

If you enter the wrong password 5 times, your account will be locked, and you will have to reset the password through [Reset password].

It is available on general Internet environments: wireless Internet such as WiFi, LTE, hotspot through a wireless router, and tethering, and wired Internet when using a PC.

For a deploy solution, it is available only when a wireless network (security network) is established through a router (wireless router). If the internal and the external networks are interconnected, the network can be establish and linked through customization according to the security policy.

The guider must teach the VIRNECT Workstation and give instructions correctly that can easily assist by the worker from other side. The 3D arrow tools in VIRNECT Workstation used correctly while pointing every parts or things from your PC.

You can remove invited members as a 'leader' in the following two ways:

- During collaboration, select [Remove] from the participant's information menu

- Select [Remote Collaboration] menu on Home screen > Detailed information of the collaboration> [Participant Information ] > [Remove]

Created collaboration can end under the following two conditions: When all participating members have ended collaboration access, collaboration sessions without connected members are not maintained and automatically deleted. If you temporarily disconnect collaboration in progress, you can check the list of collaborations in progress from the [Remote Collaboration] menu on the Home screen. The 'leader' can delete the collaboration that they have created.

The [AR Sharing] function can be used when the worker's device is Android 8.0 or higher and the AR Core App provided by Google is installed. When the 'leader' sends a request to run the [AR Sharing] feature to a worker, the worker's Android device must accept the authorization to use AR. If rejected, the AR function will no longer be available in the collaboration. (To use the function again, you need to create a new collaboration.) You can start the AR pointing mode by accepting the authorization. After that, you can change to the AR drawing mode in the menu on the 'leader' screen.

The [Collaboration Board] menu is a function to share an image/PDF document with participating members. It can be controlled in the 'leader' role. You can share files in the following two ways. - After using the [Capture] function in the [Real-time Share] menu, share the captured image file through the [Image Sharing] function. - Share images/PDF documents stored in the device's storage by uploading files to the [collaboration board] menu. More detailed communication is available through drawing and text, etc. on the shared screen.

Pointing is a function to guide the exact location by displaying a point at the location with a mouse click or screen touch on the shared video screen.

The pointing function can be used by all roles accessing the collaboration. However, it cannot be used on smartglasses where screen control is difficult. You can restrict authorization to pointing in the 'leader' role. After accessing the collaboration, you can assign the authorization to participating members by turning on and off the [Participant Pointing] menu in the [Environment Settings] menu.

To start collaboration, first log in to VIRNECT Remote 2.0 via Web or App.

[Web]

1. Click the [Create remote Collabo] button at the top of the screen.

2. Select more than one member to start collaboration with from the [List of available members] on the right side of the pop-up window of [List of available members].

3. Fill in the [Profile image of Collabo], [Collabo name], and [Collabo description] if you want to.

4. Click [Start] at the bottom of the pop-up window to move to the collaboration connecting screen and send invitations to the selected members.

5. Once the members accept the invitation, collaboration starts.

[Mobile]

1.Click the [Member] menu at the bottom of the app you logged in.

2. Select more than one member to start collaboration with.

3. Click [Call] at the bottom right to move to the collaboration connecting screen and send invitations to the selected members.

4. Once the members accept the invitation, collaboration starts.

[Smartglasses: Realwear HMT-1 / HoloLens]

1. Log in to the app to see the Member List screen.

2. Select one member to start collaboration with from the member list.

3. You are automatically moved to the collaboration connecting screen, and an invitation alert is sent to the selected member.

4. Once the member accepts the invitation, collaboration starts.
