Step 1
Download and install Microsoft HoloLens app on PC Download Link.
Step 2
Turn on and put on the HoloLens 2.
Note : Make sure both PC and HoloLens are connected to the same WiFi network.
Step 3
Enter IP address of your HoloLens 2.
Note : How to check your HoloLens IP address?
Speak “What’s my IP address?” with Voice Command.
Step 4
Select Settings in the main menu.
Next select the Update menu item.
Select the For developers menu item.
Enable Developer Mode.
Scroll down and “enable Device Portal”.
If you're setting up Windows Device Portal so you can deploy apps to this HoloLens over Wi-Fi, select Pair to generate a pairing PIN.
Step 5
Start the HoloLens.
Select Settings in the main menu.
Then go to Network & Internet.
Select the Wi-Fi you are connected to.
Press Advanced Options.
Scroll down to the properties.
Note down the IP address listed as IPv4.
Step 6
Enter PIN that show on your HoloLens.
Note : The PIN will display in HoloLens.
Step 7
Successful connection. Click BLUE icon to continue.
Step 8
Click Live Stream for Casting.
Step 9
Successful Casting.
If latency increased after casting for some time
1. Click any other button to stop Live Stream.
2. Go back and click Live Stream again.
3. Latency will be reduced.
Live Stream Latency might be due to the optimisation of Microsoft HoloLens native app, WiFi bandwidth limit, condition of your local network environment, network adapter or PC specifications..
Step 10
Device Info.

Camera can capture pictures, photo & videos are gallery view. Virtual keyboard setting from laptop / PC. App manager if like HoloLens 2 latency in anytime, can review on it.
